2027 Award Nominations
Marco Molinaro SoTL Community Engagement Award
The Marco Molinaro SoTL Community Engagement Award recognizes individuals who have made meaningful contributions to engaging the UC Davis community in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), inspiring and supporting others in their SoTL work.
Examples of community engagement include fostering SoTL collaborations, mentoring students engaged in SoTL research, contributing to the SoTL Conference and other SoTL events, and providing training or resources that support SoTL. Other forms of community engagement are also welcome.
Eligibility
Anyone with a formal affiliation with UC Davis may be nominated, including faculty, staff, students, and administrators. Nominations may be submitted by anyone with a formal UC Davis affiliation, and self-nominations are welcome.
Nomination Requirements
To submit a nomination, please upload a single PDF containing:
- Nomination letter (1,000 words maximum): Describe the nominee's contributions to engaging and supporting the UC Davis SoTL community.
- Optional supporting materials: Additional documentation, such as the nominee's CV, may be included.
Nomination Deadline
Nominations must be submitted by Friday, Dec. 18, 2026 to be considered for the 2027 Marco Molinaro SoTL Community Engagement Award.
Nominees who are not selected will be considered again the following year. Nominators are encouraged, but not required, to update previously submitted nominations.
